1980s

The MTV era saw emerging artists including Madonna, Michael Jackson, Prince, Bon Jovi and Guns n Roses as well as many Heavy metal Bands.  New wave music introduced keyboard synthesizer and become very popular.  
Most memorable movies were Star Wars, Indianna Jones, Batman, Crocodile Dundee, Pretty in Pink, Nightmare on Elm Street and Rambo.
Fashion hit an all time low although everyone thought they looked great....Shoulder pads, Mullets, Perms, leg warmers, ra ra skirts, fishnet tops bangles and beads and aviator glasses aren't a good look (especially when all worn at once).
